I’m a based in Cork wedding photographer, and from the off I have always photographed weddings in a documentary style. To document means that I will photograph your wedding in a candid manner. This allows the day to breath. Just watching as the wedding day as it unfolds, It can a pure joy. Being both quick and patient or just reactive to capture and anticipate what may happen. It aids the natural flow.
This gallery is a scrapbook collection of images collected over the last couple years or so from weddings Cork weddings, Kerry weddings, Limerick weddings and beyond. Venues such as Angler’s Rest in Strawberry Beds, Dublin to Co. Louth and Castlebellingham
My way of working is to candidly produce a set of wedding pictures that sum up a wedding day and a natural flow of that wedding day. At least in my view it should be a natural flow. So what we have here is a selection of moments from a numerous amount of different weddings. Snippets from those weddings which will give a taste of how I like to work as a documentary wedding photographer.
Realistically you just can never know what may happen on any given day. What is important to me is being ready and to observe carefully and seek out special wedding pictures. To capture the essence of a wedding day. Which in turn is the only way to make that day as unique as possible.
Each day will bring what it will and in a natural manner. And therefore you will enjoy your wedding day in such a natural manner. There is a lot to be said for that. Allowing a wedding photographer like myself do the work while you simply enjoy your wedding day. And without the need to fake it up. I’ll simply take pictures.
No set ups, no messing about. So therefore a very candid.
These are Candid Scenes from a Documentary Wedding Day.
