Julia & Matthew planned a trip to Ireland from the UK for their Kinsale elopement. And what better setting than the town of Kinsale in West Cork for such an intimate and candid Wedding day. Call me biased, but given I live only a mere few miles from Kinsale, I think it is a wonderful town for such a special day out. A short walk from the center of Kinsale and you will find St Multose Church. This is where they both would hold their intimate wedding ceremony. And as well as being their photographer I, along with the musician there helping out, was also a witness to this very intimate moment.
The weather was just ideal on this day too, blue skies and a shinning sun. So a stroll through the town of Kinsale was on the cards. And on this midweek day the town was quiet. In many ways, this was just ideal. Especially when t came to the pictures as they both walked through the picturesque town.
One of the most popular ideas when in Kinsale is to make a visit to Charles Fort. The 1700 century fortification is a favorite with many visitors. I know I have taken many a wedding party of that Part of Kinsale. And it is a building steeped in history. An expansive layout which offers some stunning views of the bay. As well as much of the Kinsale area.
Not satisfied with that, Matthew had also aid on an extra surprise for Julia, as they then both took a boat ride around the Kinsale bay. They both had a great candid wedding day; I had a great day. and they both gathered some lovely memories from their very intimate Kinsale Elopement. And for myself, it was a pleasure to be part of the day and to get to photograph it
