It’s always so nice and invigorating when photograph a wedding at a new venue. And this intimate Inch Hideaway wedding set up was a new one on my list of photographed wedding venues. Given it is far not from my door I was surprised that I had not heard about it before. Though it is a relatively new spot where weddings are concerned. It really is a wonderful hideaway.
Jess & Time were East Cork locals and Inch Hideaway is more or less at their front door. And though a regular visitor to East Cork, whether for work or pleasure, the Hideaway was certainly new to me.
Things kicked off at Jess’ family home. A bustle of activity all through the morning. Neighbours buzzing in and out. Sandwiches being eaten Plenty of banter. A great mood throughout. It was quite lively.
I was excited to get to the venue as I had started hear a bit about it. The uniqueness. It would be hard to source many spots like it. For todays wedding world, it offers another option for those couples that seek out something a bit different. Because many do want something a little different. This is what the Inch Hideaway offers. And does so in spades.
Right from the off it offered me plenty of candid opportunities. A lovely open setting. The weather played ball too. The open expanse of the venue was ideal to get right stuck into. It has that relaxed feel to it. And that for me can be the ideal situation. There is plenty to keep the kids entertained. Which for the parents can be great news. Certainly on a wedding celebration.
Ceremony done. A lovely one it was too. So Jess & Tim got down to enjoying the party. The day was filled with fun and laughter. This ebbed form the newly weds on this day and their Intimate Inch Hideaway Wedding. And in turn the guests fed from this as I did myself. And thus resulted in the atmospheric images from that day.
