If it is December and I’m working in Killarney then what better a better day to work than a Cahernane House Wedding. And after a change, Cahernane House was to be the venue for Niamh & Pat’s Wedding.
In the middle of December. And what a very festive time, just days before Christmas.
I kicked off at Niamh’s parents’ House. All was so very relaxed there.
Sometimes the wedding morning can be relaxed. At times can be chaotic.
Both are good for me. As I have stated many times, each day will bring what it will bring. With a documentary style nothing is forced. And I know that many love this approach.
Niamh was happy with me after a bit so I headed to Pat’s. Where I got a bit lost on the way. Pat’s sister came to rescue me. Never turn your back on a Satnav. This is my advice.
And once with Pat and his family I got right into the thick of things. They were all preparing for the wedding and rather excited and looking forward to the day. So after grabbing a few candid images with Pat and company, I headed to Currow Church.
Given the postponements during that time things were starting to kick back into gear. Which was great. There was a lot of excitement in the air. Niamh & Pat’s respective crews were in great form.
With the ceremony done with, it was off to a local bar. The bar was a few hundred feet from the church. Many of the guests piled in for a couple of pints of Guinness. This is always a lovely part of the day. Both for me and the couple. Family and friends can let there hair down and enjoy a few drinks.
Then it was off to Cahernane House in the heart of Killarney for the newlyweds wedding reception, and to enjoy their wedding on that December day
