For their nuptials, Katrina & Fraser would head to Kerry. Then on through beautiful town of Kenmare. Then head on to the road to Sneem for their beautiful candid Dromquinna Manor Wedding. And given this was a very hot summer then that wedding would be held on the expansive gardens at the rear of the house. Despite this country known for its rain, and quite often during the summer, many couples have been lucky enough and had the pleasure to have their wedding ceremony outdoors.
The setting at of Dromquinna Manor really is a stunning one. The venue itself is described by John Brennan as a party house. At the end of the large lawn which sits behind the house is a calm lake. Clamping is also a big part of the attraction of Dromquinna too. So, plenty to catch the eye in this stunning surrounding in the heart of Kenmare.
As luck would have it, the rain did start to fall a little bit. Nothing major. But it was drizzle like for a bit. To be expected. Despite how hot it was that morning. It wouldn’t be Ireland without a bit of rain. And with the ceremony part of the day completed it wasn’t a big deal.
Inside the house there was a great atmosphere and mood as everybody got into the swing and spirit of the day. The house itself is one I do enjoy to document and photograph. Grabbing conversations and stories. Laughs and banter. Maybe even serious stuff. And as the weather will typically tend to ebb and flow, later on in the day as the light rain settled the couple would venture outside. To get a few pics by themselves on the wide-open gardens of Dromquinna.
Outside the speeches, which always tend to go down well regardless, the hard work is done.
All the happy couple have to do now is live in the moment. With friends and family. To just enjoy the rest of the day and night at their beautiful candid Dromquinna Manor Wedding. And I will do the rest. Picture wise only. Of course. I won’t do anything washing up or anything.
