When it comes to a Clonabreany House wedding and venues of that ilk, needless to say I am always quite excited by the prospect. Not only does that country house style venue offer a hell of a lot, but as stated before, it tends to draw a certain client type. And I guess that type is a laid back one. From experience the country house certainly draws people who want to get married and have a great chilled out day.
And this is where I come in. Given there’s no set ups or any sort of messing about with my candid and documentary wedding photography style. The couple with their family and friends can spend their day without much fuss.
I received a nice email form Julie regards her wedding to Philip. A well thought out email helps me to get a good idea of who that person is. And what they plan. It also tells me that this is a coupe who take their search for a wedding photographer seriously.
And while a nice drive away from my door in West Cork, Clonabreany House is a breathtaking venue set in the heart of Westmeath.
The estate has options on both sides of the country road leading in. On one side you have the house itself, with its iconic black taxi cab outside. On the other side they have a wonderful barn for ceremonies, and a bar set up too.
For those awaiting the ceremony, it’s nice for guests to have a drink and mingle and get to know each other pre wedding. It’s a lovely and very relaxing set up.
And for weddings, away out in the countryside, getting away from it all it is ideal.
But enough of this chatter, click here to see this set from Philip & Julie’s Clonbreany House Wedding in Westmeath.
